Christmas Services 2025
Celebrate Christmas at Victory in Christ Lutheran Church! We have two opportunities to worship together. As a token of our gratitude to Christ giving Himself for us, we invite you to claim a free gift at any of our Christmas services or events.
Christmas Eve Service [2025]
Lessons and Carols with Candlelight service
December 24, at 7:00 p.m.
This simple, beautiful service focuses our attention on the real meaning of the season. We read from the Scriptures, sing the favorite Christmas hymns, and reflect on Jesus’ entry into the world. At the end of the service, the entire Sanctuary is filled with candlelight as we sing “Silent Night.”
Christmas Day Service with Holy Communion [2025]
December 25, at 10:00 a.m.
We provide a liturgical worship service that follows the Divine Service liturgy from the Lutheran Service Book (LSB Hymnal). An organ accompanies the congregants during worship. The Lord's Supper is celebrated, and we offer both the common cup as well as individual cups.

What is Christmas about?
Christmas is about the eternal Son of God becoming a human being just like us, taking on human flesh in order to die for our sins on the cross. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary some 2,000 years ago. He lived a perfect life, and died on a Roman cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. On the third day He rose from the dead, defeating death. He gives all who believe Him this victory over sin and death. |
