History
Through the faithfulness of God and dedicated believers, Victory in Christ Lutheran Church was established in May of 2009.
Lutherans celebrate the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion as the means of God’s grace by which the Holy Spirit enables us to receive God’s forgiveness for our sins through the birth, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
We believe people should be part of a community of faith where they live—where they are continually confronted, encouraged, and humbled with the amazing redemptive love of God and His claim upon their lives.
We offer you a church small enough to know who you are and to care about you. We look forward to embracing you as a member of our family as you use your talents and abilities as God calls you to share them.
We believe people should be actively involved in the worship and work of the church where they are members to become ROOTED in the Word of GOD, GROWING in faith, and becoming FRUITFUL in discipleship.
If you live in the Newark Area and do not have a church home, we invite you to become a member of the worshiping community.
